Summary: From the name you’d expect this film is some sort of Amityville type horror, a run of the mill job, but in truth its near-to-impossible to try and tag it as anything. It contains a splat of horror, a shot of thriller and the calm of a dead hindu cow. It touches tender subjects that some can find a little sickly…
The characters are all a little simple, there was never a point in the film where I felt that passionate whether they should live or die - The build for the characters just seemed non-existant. Through some of the scenes I really should have been left with a horrible image in my head leaving with my stomach on full spin. But it never got like that.
A lot of the basics were missing in this film, but there were positives in the message it brought along with a little different storyline. Your morales are questioned with would you/wouldn’t you circumstances plotted throughout, the storyline left with significant gaps to fill in with your own answers.
Potentially this could have been awesome, with a little bit of a vision change and more work into building up some tension. The story will stick out in your mind, but maybe not always for the right reasons.
